What Electrical Work To Expect When Going For a Kitchen Renovation?

Kitchen renovations aren’t cheap, but if you opt to have the project done the ideal way the first time you won’t need to spend more time and effort there too. If you take the opportunity to make a smart plan and consult the professionals you will be rewarded with a kitchen that’s secure, convenient and functional.

Kitchen Electrical Jobs

If you will be renovating your kitchen, the first thing to do is to discuss your project with a trained expert. There are criteria for safety and proper placement of wiring and power sockets and this isn’t something that needs to be attempted without expert electric experience. As a matter of fact, for any task more complex than changing a light bulb, the legislation actually requires an expert handle these jobs.

The minimal distance between the kitchen sink and the electric sockets is one of the concerns that are controlled by legislation. This distance is changeable with the capacity of this sink. Smaller sinks will require 0.4m in the top to some electric fittings or 0.15m from the faces of the sinks to the electrical outlets. Bigger sinks which can hold over 45 litres require 1 meter away from the top or 0.5m away from their side borders to the nearest electrical fitting or socket.
